With easy access to key attractions, nearby golf courses, shopping malls and the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota, this lodging draws devotees keen on features like the "roomy", "clean" quarters with "spacious desks", the "professional" staffers who are "accommodating" without "being clingy pests" and the indoor hot tub, pool and exercise facility; still, a few "dislike the restaurant" and admit that with "super-small baths" and some aging fixtures, the rooms "need some remodeling."

Close to the Metrodome and free parking.
Staff needs to be a little more helpful.

We asked if there was a shuttle to the Mall Of America. We were told no. But could get a cab. We found out later we could get the shuttle to the Metrodome and take the train from there. They should give this advice when asked. We do not like driving in a large city especially when 35w is closed. The cab cost was $45 one way the Metro $1.75. The shuttle driver was the best. Our train was a little late getting back and he waited for us. Now that is service. ...read more

The staff was very polite.
It had very little character as it was undergoing renovations.

It would not be my first choice because it was very basic and not in a great location. It was clean though and met our needs.

This hotel was easy to find with nice, clean rooms. Also, the restaurant had excellent food. The negative is that they should have had more staff on duty since the hotel was full. I would stay here again. ...read more

Convenient location and provided transportation to the event.
Construction noise and restaurant stopped serving too early after Viking/Packer Monday Night Football game.

The hotel is doing some remodeling, so construction noise began around 8:00 A.M. The noise was loud enough to make it difficult to talk on the phone or hear the TV, and drove us to leave earlier than we wanted to for the day's activities. Also, we went to the bar after the Monday night football game, only to find out that they were not serving food, and we would have had to order a pizza before we left for the game in order to have it available after. ...read more

When we got to the hotel they had no room for us. We were very disappointed. They sent us to a low-classed Super 8.
